Jersey International Road Race 60th Anniversary
JERSEY FESTIVAL OF MOTORING 2007
Welcome to the eighth year of the Jersey Festival of Motoring – a unique event and a unique experience tailored especially for car enthusiasts of all ages – the cars not the occupants! This year is the 60th Anniversary of the Jersey International Road Race, and
despite being unable to stage a re-enactment of the Road Circuit, we will be celebrating with guest appearances, cars that ran in the original race, and much more.
If you are looking for something rather different with a touch of the Continent, look no further. Jersey is a wonderful destination with its close affinity and history with Normandy, reflected in its granite buildings and French road names. Jersey is ideal for “older motoring”, with magnificent scenery, wonderful beaches and delightful country lanes, not to mention the vast array of seafood restaurants. The Festival has successfully combined touring and competitive elements which provide an all-round experience for touring and sporting cars of all ages, with plenty of activities including closed public road hill climbs, sea-front sprint (run under MSA regulations), cavalcade, treasure hunt, visits and much more culminating in nightly social evenings for everyone. Jersey has a variety of other local motoring orientated clubs who will be joining in with the Saturday Static Display, Best Costume and fun skilled driving courses, where you will have an opportunity to meet them, as well as members of the Jersey Old Motor Club. The Jersey Old Motor Club welcomes cars of all ages for the touring activities, but the competitive events have an upper age restriction of up to 31 December 1971 and single-seaters pre-1941. Competitors must have a MSA National B non-race licence, and regulation flame-proof racing overalls and helmet.

Die Allard-Continental-Group ist mit einem Clubstand in Halle 3 vertreten.

Auf dem Stand wird ein Allard K3 von 1952 mit einer Laufleistung von 30.000 Meilen im Originalzustand ausgestellt sein.

Darüber hinaus finden Sie viele Informationen zum Thema Allard und kompetente Ansprechpartner auf dem Stand.

The Allard-Continental-Group will be represented by a club stand in Hall 3.

There will be an Allard K3 from 1952 on display with a mileage of 30.000 from new and 1. Owner. The car is totally unrefurbished.

On the Allard Club Stand you will find a lot of information about Allards and discussion partners with competence.
